Boats for Sale PDF Drucken E-Mail

US $8000

USA-2117 is a beautiful Vito Bonezzi built International Contender. Vito is an artist and a boat building genius.

She was built in 2000 and first owned by Dane Søren Andreasen.

I bought her in 2001 and stored her and raced her in Europe and Australia until 2006 when I returned her to USA.

The fittings are almost exactly the same as installed by Søren when he owned the boat. I have added righting lines to make it easier to right the boat.

The lower shrouds are fitted with StaMaster continuously adjustable fittings.

In 2015 I had Larry Tuttle at Waterat completely strip her and revarnish her in clear Awlgrip. When I got her back, I installed fresh ProGrip on the rails, the cockpit floor, and on the cockpit side back aft. See pictures.

She is equipped with a (Luca) Bonezzi lifting rudder, a (Vito) Bonezzi centerboard. (The fixed rudder in one of the photos is not included)

Her carbon fiber mast is a 2015 Harpprect “standard” bend characteristic. The trapeze wires are fitted with Søren Andreasen trap handles.

Her carbon fiber boom is by (Andrea) Bonezzi.

Her sail is 2008 North by Ethan Bixby.

She has top and bottom covers built in 2012. The top cover has extra long skirts to protect the sides of the hull from the sun when the bottom cover is not on the boat.

The centerboard uses gaskets on the forward part of the centerboard case back to the mainsheet tower and then a tompion is inserted into the centerboard case aft to prevent water gushers on planing reaches.

The launching trolley is galvanized and has epoxy and fiberglass wide supports to protect the hull.

The boat has been stored at home with the boat cover, then a tarp to protect the boat cover, then a ramada over the entire boat to provde still more sun protection.

The boat will be available for viewing and kicking the tires(gently please) in Clearwater, FL from February 6 to 11.

I have posted photos at my Flickr page here in an album:

And below is just one of the wonderful pictures of this thoroughbred racing.

***SOLD*** 2012 Bonezzi, #2536 Avantgarde Mast Waterat CB Waterat Rudder $14,900

This 2012 Bonezzi Contender was built for Pegasus Racing in Yellow & Grey. She is built in Epoxy, with Carbon Rudder and Centerboard. She has only been sailed a handful of times, and has been stored indoors. All of the hardware is new, and the mainsheet cleat now resides on a carbon riser that's mounted on a fore/aft track system. It can be pulled forward in light air to allow the skipper to sit well forward when gybing, making the cockpit completely open. The mainsheet runs inside the boom, with end-boom sheeting. This allows the skipper to tack the extension forward like a Laser, again allowing him/her to stay forward in the boat and making maneuvers very easy.

Also, as a non-class legal but super fun upgrade, it has an easily removable carbon fiber bowsprit and snuffer bag that runs across the deck. When you're not class racing, the one-string hoisting system adds horsepower downwind and is a blast on the trapeze. When in non-class configuration we use Devoti D-One Spinnakers and a Devoti D One Mainsail that adds a square top profile and even more power. This kit is included in the package.

Also included are the Dolly, Deck Cover, one set of equipment and sail. We also have the following parts available - offers now being considered:

One Unfinished CST mast

One Unfinished C-Tech mast One Tilt trailer from the Devoti D-Ones that works great for double stacking the Contenders

This package is immediately available in Santa Cruz, CA, the site of the 2016 Worlds.

***SOLD*** 2007 Harprecht, #2396 Schappi Carbon Mast $9,900

This 2007 Harprecht Contender was faired, painted Red and fully re-rigged when we took ownership in 2011. Since then it has only been sailed a handful of times, and has been stored indoors. UNLEASH THE SEX PANTHER NOW!

When men say “this never happens”, it is generally understood (by women) to be a bold and blatant lie. But in this case, it is true. This. Never. Happens. (Okay, well it happens maybe once every 12 years or so.) Up for sale is a ready to race 1977 Bonezzi. For those who don’t know, these boats are lovingly hand crafted in the small village of Mantua, Italy, by Vito Bonezzi and to say he is a boat builder would be an injustice on par with what is unfolding at the Oscar Pistorius trial. No. Vito Bonezzi is a boat artist. Contender World Championships are consistently won by Vito’s children, of which only a few are birthed each year and they remain perpetually and unnaturally in their prime, like Lance Armstrong, the Real Housewives, and zombie lions.

But if its lineage doesn’t impress you, then understand, gentlemen, that sailing this blonde beast will be the equivalent of bathing yourself in a tub of equal parts Axe body wash and Old Spice, then donning an Armani tuxedo with bottles of Moet tucked into each arm, the keys to your Bentley jingling in one hand, and your phone ringing in the other, with the caller being George Clooney wondering despairingly why you haven’t RSVPed to his invite to his party (in your honour) on Lake Como. That’s right. You will have women coming at you with such intense and all-consuming ardour that you’ll have to beat them off with a stick (figuratively, not literally in the Chris Brown sense).

As mentioned, this panty annihilator is ready to go – with carbon sticks, two sails (regatta worthy (Wavelength) and practice (Cicada)), foils, tenting top cover, full travel covers (top and bottom), dolly, and trailer. The cheddar being requested for the keys to the city of long sweaty nights is $6500. And in case you want to know why is this sleek wooden sex panther is up for sale, it’s because the seller is a tired, tired, old man who has settled into a monogamous relationship with an International 14, and as with all relationships, it’s hoovering up all of his available cash, time, and will to live.
